LINK Development joined the W3C

We have the pleasure to announce our membership in the World Wide Web Consortium the main international standards organization for the World Wide Web dedicated to “leading the Web to its full potential”.

Starting May 2009 LINK Development considered as the first company in the Middle east region to be W3C accredited and will work together with other W3C members - such as Microsoft, Apple Inc., AT&T, Adobe, CISCO, Mozilla, Nokia, Opera, Siemens AG, Sony Ericsson, Sun Microsystems, Inc., and a variety of other hardware and software manufacturers and universities – to design and provide strategic direction to the Consortium through review of W3C Activity proposals and operational policies. This partnership will give us the power produce effective and dynamic applications and to better communicate and exchange information.

By joining W3C, LINK Development seat on the W3C Advisory Committee will increase its investment in the growth of web technologies and their benefits into the world and supports the social value of the Web which is to enable human communication, commerce, and opportunities to share knowledge.

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) develops interoperable technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full potential. W3C is a forum for information, commerce, communication, and collective understanding.
